Reviewers

On submission, each author will assign one or more topics to his or her submission. The choice of reviewers is handled based on this information, as well as on the home institution(s) of the submitting author(s) and the possible reviewers. We will never assign a reviewer from the same university (assuming that the university names can be matched by a human), and also try to avoid having reviewers from the same state for US-based authors and reviewers. Additionally, we strive to have an international reviewer for each US submission and (when possible) two international reviewers for international submissions; also, an international submission will not have a reviewer from the same country.

In general, each paper will be assigned six reviewers, and no reviewer will be required to review more than four papers. All submissions are available in PDF format.

Note: All reviews will be distributed anonymously to both the author(s) and reviewers of that submission. This will give the author feedback and provide information to reviewers as well. It is hoped that, over time, this feedback will help make the review process more consistent as reviewers can compare their responses to those of others.
